Kaneshiro Anniversay Party

CD asked me to help her photograph her friend's parent's anniversary party at Tsukiji's. This is a great bunch of people, they are so friendly and so funny. It was a great event to shoot.

Techie stuff: Nikon D300 with Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, aperture priority, aperture f/2.8, ISO 800, center weighted metering, SB-900 flash with bounce card and custom white balance. Also, D90 with Nikon 17-35mm, f/2.8, aperture priority, aperture f/2.8, ISO 800, center weighted metering, SB-800 flash with bounce card and custom white balance.

wow..Great balance w/ the skin tones looking very natural...and no noise!! How'd you do dat?!! It's a tough indoor shoot since I've seen Tsukiji's. The pinks in the flower arrangement and the favors came out so vibrant. Great capture of the surprised 'jube' shot...very nice!

Great shots of the ladies at the reception table. You nailed the honorees' look of surprise!!! Lots of great expressions. Very creative - the shot of the restaurant's name.

That was so much fun, glad you helped me and had a fun time.
